The Galtalm T-bar lift from 1961 was replaced by a modern 10EUB cable car lift from Leitner. The first construction work began in mid-June 2023. The new Galtberg lift will lead to a significant improvement in quality and comfort. High-performance speed of up to 6 m/s with a travel time of around 4 minutes, transport capacity of 1.400 people per hour, which can be increased to a maximum of 2.000 people per hour.
We were able to support the cable car company with the preparation of the safety report and the necessary technical reports. The final inspection for the electrical engineering department was carried out after completion of construction by our engineer Roland Gattringer as a non-official expert.
