Conformity assessments of safety components and subsystems

Since 2003, we have been a "Notified Body" according to the EU Ropeway Directive 2000/9/EC and registered in Brussels under Ident No. 1339. In 2018, we were re-accredited in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/424.

As part of the conformity assessment procedure, we test safety components and subsystems with regard to the "essential requirements" in accordance with the Ropeway Ordinance. At the end of the test, we issue an EC certificate of conformity. We carry out these conformity assessments at the well-known European ropeway manufacturers for all safety components and subsystems according to "Module B" (EU type examination), "Module F" (production test), "Module G" (individual test) and according to "Module H1".
